Is this too much meat for one single-patty sandwich?

Speaking of meat... Burger King Steakhouse Burger?

Post by Illustrator on Tue Apr 08, 2008 2:13 pm

Ok, so I got one of these for lunch today. You guys seen these things? It's a 6"x4" beef patty (which is how I often refer to my "special area")... that's right, 24 inches square of beef. Do you think this is too much meat for one patty? You decide!

I voted no. I just grilled up a 1/2lb burger last night around 10:30pm!

dunno, never saw one.

We're doing Qdoba this evening instead......really good fast food for a Mexican joint....(like chipotle if you have one of those)

as for the meat, you'll know when it's time to try to push that load back out if it was too much beef

QDOBA is a favorite... I love the fact that they have a member card and you get free meals out of it. We have Chipotle around here, but never been to one.

This Steakhouse burger is pretty crazy. The meat hangs like 2 inches off each side of the bun. I'm not sure the purpose of that design. The Crispy Onions (basically taste topper onions like you'd put on green bean casserole) are pretty tasty...

I'd have to say it was probably 1/2" thick.

Needless to say, it was large enough for Juan to curl up under and use it like a big, meaty blanket
